DUSHANBE, May 22, 2009, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan has fulfilled its spring conscription target.
Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, the chief of the press service of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) Faridoun Mahmadaliyev said that all regions and districts o the country had fulfilled their spring conscription targets ahead of schedule.
We will recall that the spring conscription campaign is carried out from April through May, and the draft affects able-bodied male citizens in the age bracket of 18 years old to 27 years old who are not members of the armed forces reserve.
