2-day symposium of German textile technologies in central Asia started its work in Tashkent on May 19.

In the course of forum, organized by Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with support of Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology and Association of Exhibition Business of Germany, innovative developments on textile production will be presented, bilateral experience exchange and research of modern trends of sector development will be held.

The main goal of the symposium is receiving information on leading developments and innovations in the sphere of textile equipment for entire production cycle first hand, and exchange of experience on promotion of products on world market.

German side is interested and is “ready to supply newest technologies and equipment to Uzbekistan,” Boris Abajiev, German Mechanic Engineers Union representative, said in his interview.

Uzbek and German specialists working in textile and light industry, production of equipment for this sector, and also representatives of companies and enterprises will take part in the symposium.
