KULOB, May 7, 2009, Asia-Plus – The Kulob Museum of Written and Literary Relics has become owner of an unique manuscript containing detailed commentaries on Sharia (body of Islamic religious law), head of the unified directorate of three museums in Kulob Hotam Asozoda said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
According to him, the manuscript entitled “Hidoya” and dated to the 14th-15th century was purchased from a Dushanbe resident for 1,250 somoni. “This year, museum has also purchased eight manuscripts dated to 18th – 19th centuries,” Asozoda said.
