DUSHANBE, January 21, 2009, Asia-Plus  — By government’s resolution of January 19 Kholmurod Qurbonov, formerly manager of one of energy projects, was appointed as director of the energy projects implementation unit, Nozir Yodgori, a spokesman for Barqi Tojik power holding, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

Qurbonov replaced Sanat Rahimov, who was appointed to head Barqi Tojik power holding.            By other government’s resolution, Bahrom Azimov, formerly engineer-in-chief at the Republican Central Electric Systems, was appointed as first deputy head of Barqi Tojik, and Nourmahmad Kholnazarov, who had previously served as deputy director of the Dushanbe Electric Systems, was appointed as deputy head of Barqi Tojik.
