DUSHANBE, February 21, 2011, Asia-Plus — Customs officers seized 752 grams of heroin at the Dushanbe airport on February 20, a source at the Customs Service under the Government of Tajikistan said.
According to him, an inspection of passengers on the Dushanbe-Yekaterinburg (Russia) flight found heroin hidden in the luggage belonging to Tursunzoda resident, H.A.
“During the preliminary investigation, the drug peddler said that he had agreed to transport this amount of heroin to Yekaterinburg for US$2,000,” the source said.
