DUSHANBE, February 24, 2011, Asia-Plus — Chairman of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev has signed a decree on convocation of the fourth session of the Majlisi Milli on March 11.
Shavkat Saidov, an aide to the Majlisi Milli speaker, says the session will consider laws on environmental information and quality and safety of food products as well as amendments to laws on national symbols and state registration of acts of civil status.
According to him, the session will also consider a number of other laws adopted by the lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament.
