KULOB, April 13, 2011, Asia-Plus  — An accident at the gas pipeline, Baljuvon-Kulob, have left hundreds of residents of apartment buildings in Kulob without natural gas.

Deputy Kulob mayor, Pirmad Zaripov, says the accident occurred at the underwater section of the gas pipeline in the Yakhsou River between Vose and Kulob districts yesterday.  The deputy mayor assured that the accident will be removed tomorrow.

After an accident at the Khoja-Sartez field in Vose district, Kulob residents have received natural gas from the Baljuvon field for already three years.  It is to be noted that specialist have failed to remove the accident at the Khoja-Sartez field so far.
