MOSCOW, June 9, Asia-Plus — A student of one of local colleges has been detained in St. Petersburg on suspicion of having been involved in murder of Tajik national that was committed in spring of 2010, according to the Russian Investigative Committee’s office for St. Petersburg.
The body of Tajik national, who had been a self-employed taxi-driver, was found in a car VAZ-2107 parked near one of apartment buildings in St. Petersburg on April 17, 2010.
“19-year-old student of one of the St. Petersburg colleges has been detained on suspicion of having been involved in that crime,” said the source. “The preliminary investigation has established that he inflicted more than 30 stab wounds on the driver and his friend inflicted at least three stab wounds on him. They ceased the car cassette radio and escaped.”
