DUSHANBE, August 1, 1011, Asia-Plus — A 24-year-old woman from the town of Vahdat, A.N. was detained on July 31 on suspicion of selling her newborn child, the Interior Ministry press center reports.
The woman was caught red-handed while taking deposit in an amount of 100.00 somoni for her one-week-old daughter.
“She was going to sell her newborn daughter for 100.00 U.S. dollars,” the source said.
