DUSHANBE, December 30, Asia-Plus  — By government’s resolution adopted at a December 29 meeting new public premium bonds are issued in Tajikistan starting from March 1, 2009.

According to presidential press service, the bonds are issued for the period of 10 years and holders of the premium bonds issued in 2002 may exchange them for the new bonds or receive the amount due to them.

The government will issue public premium bonds of 10 and 20 somoni’s denomination and winnings on them are set at 1,500, 1,000, 500, 300, 200, 100, 40, and 20 somoni.

60 drawings will be held during ten years – six drawings each year with periodicity of once per two months, the press service said.
