DUSHANBE, December 26, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Issues related to development of poultry in the country are being discussed at a two-day scientific-practical conference that has opened at the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) today.

The source at a MoA said that the conference has brought together specialists and poultry plant heads from Tajikistan, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, and Iran to discuss the present state of poultry and ways to ensure development of the important agricultural sector.

Tomorrow, the conference participants are scheduled to visit the poultry farms Murghi Hilol and Murghi Marjon in the Fayzobod district and Navrouz in the Vahdat district.
