KHUJAND, September 22, 2011, Asia-Plus  — A Tajik-Russian joint venture for processing farm produce, Badr, has been launched in Isfara district, Sughd province.

It is the first Tajik-Russian joint venture in Isfara.  The source in the Isfara industry department says Badr will be engaged in processing apricots, producing juices, packaging juices and manufacturing dry mixes for producing compotes.

“At first, the enterprise will supply its output to Russia but in the future, they will also export their products to the countries of Central Asia and Middle East,” the source added.
