DUSHANBE, December 11, 2008, Asia-Plus — In January-November 2008, Tajik law enforcement authorities have seized 5,872 kilograms of narcotics, according to press service of the Drug Control Agency (DCA).

A totaled included 1,600.242 kilograms of heroin, 1,712.231 kilograms of raw opium and 2,559.498 kilograms of cannabis.

Over the same period of last year, Tajik law enforcement authorities had seized 5,092.813 kilograms of drugs, including 1,494.556 kilograms of heroin, 2,440.905 kilograms of raw opium and 1,157.352 kilograms of cannabis.
