DUSHANBE, March 26, 2012, Asia-Plus  — In a report released at the Fifth Regional Economic Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA V) in Dushanbe, Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi noted on March 26 that Tajikistan offers to establish a multi-profile vocational and training center in its territory for training of specialists for Afghanistan.

The Tajik minister said that an efficient implementation of the regional infrastructure and economic development projects “depends on the provision of them with human resources.”  In this context, development of human potential is of significant importance for providing efficiency of efforts in all directions of the regional cooperation.

“In this connection, we consider it expedient to expand interaction between educational and research institutions of the countries of the region in training personnel for Afghanistan’s economy and conducting joint surveys,” Zarifi noted.
