DUSHANBE, November 29, Asia-Plus  — On Friday November 28, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) and France’s Natiksis Bank signed a loan agreement for € 17 million for co-financing the construction of the international terminal at the Dushanbe airport, according to a MoF.

The MoF source said that a long-term loan carrying an annual interest of 0.15% should be repaid over 35 years with a 20-year grace period.

According to him, the estimated budget for implementation of the project, designed for two year, is 24 million euros.  17 million euros are provided by Natiksis Bank and contribution of Tajik state air company, TajikAir, is 7 million euros.

The loan agreement was inked by Finance Minister Safarali Najmuddinov, French Ambassador to Tajikistan, Mr. Olivier Maitland Pelen, and the TajikAir representative, the source said.
