Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon congratulated young citizens of Tajikistan with the Youth Day. As reported by the President’s press service, President wished young generation good health, happiness and new achievements and noted that the youth’s sense of patriotism and national pride is growing from year to year and Tajik youth is strengthening its participation in social and political life of the country.
President Rahmon also stressed that celebration of the Youth Day coincides with celebration of another two holidays – 15th anniversary of National Unity and 20th anniversary of XVI session of Tajikistan’s Supreme Council.
“Annual celebration of the Youth Day proves that the Government and the state care of the young generation,” Rahmon said in his message. “The youth is a great power and the future of the nation and we pin our hopes on you – creators of our country’s future. Any step the country takes is aimed to improve the youth’s life and Tajikistan’s future.”
President stressed that the youth should always remember that “only educated generation with creative thinking and good education is able to preserve the inseparable link between generations and eternal spirit of its civilized ancestors who had great civilization and powerful scientific and literature circles in Samanid epoch. The youth is able to revive the golden age of our nation based on its intellect and experience of our glorious ancestors.”
“No doubt that with a high sense of national self-consciousness and pride for its state and national statehood our youth will protect the achievements of independence in the future, strengthen the statehood, national unity, peace and stability, further socio-economic development of our Motherland and will strengthen its positions at the global arena,” President said.
