Tajikistan celebrates Youth Day on May 23. As reported by the Dushanbe Mayor’s Office, Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloev is expected to meet with young activists of the capital.

The meeting will be dedicated to the discussion of Dushanbe Mayor’s Office’s future plans on resolution of youth problems and use of Dushanbe youth’s potential for beautifying the city.

Dushanbe Mayor also ordered to carry out a series of events on the occasion of the Youth Day. The events will include meetings of the youth with veterans of war and labor in education institutions, military units, sport competitions, “No drug use, no HIV/AIDS” campaign and concerts.
