DUSHANBE, July 5, 2012, Asia-Plus  — Two persons have been detained in Dushanbe today morning on suspicion of robbing employees of one of Dushanbe’s currency exchange offices.

“Two residents of Dushanbe have been detained and their partner in crime is wanted by police,” an official source at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) told Asia-Plus.

We will recall that two employees of a currency exchange office were robbed in Dushanbe on June 11.  The MoI official website reported the incident had taken place near the victims’ house on the Amirshoyev Street.  The assailants armed with pneumatic guns reportedly seized 90,000 U.S. dollars.
