DUSHANBE, November 13, 2008, Asia-Plus — A business forum that was held at the Kokhi Vahdat State Complex in Dushanbe on November 11 brought together some 50 entrepreneurs from Tajikistan, China, Iran and Turkey to discuss cooperation issues.
The conference was held on sidelines of an international agriculture exhibition, AgroFood 2008, which was held in Dushanbe on November 8-12.
According to press service of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), the meeting participants discussed mutually beneficial cooperation in different areas. During the meeting, representatives of some 40 companies and firms from Iran, China’s San Bin and Turkish entrepreneurs expressed readiness to offer concrete services.
The meeting participants agreed to hold individual meetings and conclude contracts on joint activity. Thus, entrepreneurs from Kulob called on their Iranian colleagues to be more active in the Kulob region, promising their thorough support for promotion of their business, the press service said.
Besides, Tajik farmers asked Iranian entrepreneurs to consider the possibility of leasing of purchasing Iranian agricultural machines on instalment paying, according to the CCI press service.
We will recall that the exhibition, organized by Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) in cooperation with Iran’s Grow International Co. (Ltd), aimed to familiarize Tajik entrepreneurs with experience of internationally known goods producers and promote their access to world market.
