DUSHANBE, November 8, 2008, Asia-Plus — International agriculture exhibition entitled AgroFood 2008 kicked off at the Kokhi Vahdat State Complex in Dushanbe today.
The exhibition, organized by Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) in cooperation with Iran’s Grow International Co. (Ltd), runs through November 12.
Muhammad Irani of Grow International said that the exhibition aimed to familiarize Tajik entrepreneurs with experience of internationally known goods producers and promote their access to world market.
According to him, Iranian, Italian, Russia, and Turkish companies are participating in the exhibition. They have put on display their achievements in production of agricultural machines, fertilizers and pesticides, food processing and packaging at the fair, Irani said.
According to information posted on the Grow International website, the company has been registered in Tajikistan with the aim of offering advertising and exhibition services. It has experiences of participation in conducting several international exhibitions in Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Algeria and Iran.
