DUSHANBE, November 7, Asia-Plus  — An international conference formally titled “Central Asia and Afghanistan: Challenges, Opportunities and Prospects” will be held in Dushanbe from November 11-12, according to the Center for Strategic Studies.  

Staged by the Center for Strategic Studies in cooperation with the OSCE Office in Tajikistan and the British International Institution for Strategic Studies (IISS), the conference is aiming to consider issues related to development of Afghanistan, the source said.

The event that will be held in the Kokhi Vahdat State Complex in Dushanbe is expected to bring together more than 30 experts from Central Asia’s states, Russia, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, China and the NATO member nations.
