’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CII) told journalists Friday [January 27].

According to him, Iranian construction company will build the complex.  “The project for the construction of new exhibition complex in

was submitted for consideration at a session of heads of chambers of commerce from Islamic countries that was held in


Bahrain


last year and the session endorsed it,” Saidov said, noting that currently the government is considering the project.  

The CCI head noted that estimated budget for the construction of this exhibition complex including several pavilions and a three-star hotel was US$3.8 million.  The complex is supposed to be built within a year, according to him.  

Sharif Saidov noted that according an agreement reached between the Tajik side and the Iranian company that would build the complex, the relevant expenses and turnover of the company would be paid back in seven years upon implementation of the project.  

Under the project the new exhibition complex in


Dushanbe


will be located in the area of 10,000 square meters, Saidov said, noting that the place for the complex has not yet been defined.
