KHOROG, February 7, Asia-Plus  — In Khorog, rescuers today morning recovered the bodies of three avalanche victims, raising the death toll in avalanches that hit the region to 4, the GBAO emergencies deputy chief, Dusti Khudoyorov said.  

On January 29, according to him, three residents of Khorog — the Sohibnazarov brothers,  Oqil, Mirzo and Afraz – left for their farming unit located in the Khufakdara area and disappeared.  Their relatives who went to search them failed to find the brothers and yesterday the relatives applied to the local emergency management unit. 

Rescuers recovered the bodies of brothers today morning.

We will recall that one person was killed on January 27 when an avalanche hit the area near the Tekharv village in Vanj district of the region.
