today morning.   

The meeting is staged by Tajik Ministry of Health and the USAID-funded “POTENTIAL”, according to the Health Ministry’s press service.  

Participants at the meeting are discussing a progress of implementation and efficiency of a model of interaction of TV-prevention and HIV/ADIS services as well as ways of overcoming obstacles on the way of introduction of this model.  

At first, this model is being launched as pilot program in

.  Within the framework of introduction of this model the Health Ministry has set up a group of national trainers under support of the “POTENTIAL” PROJECT.  

More than hundred of specialists with the TB-prevention and HIV/AIDS services, AIDS-Prevention Center as well as doctors with polyclinics in Dushanbe will be trained in organizing interaction of the TB-prevention and HIV/ADIS services, detecting, treating and preventing the infections.   

The trained team is supposed to monitor introduction of the model and assess its efficiency.
