, March 10, Asia-Plus – A new primary schools was put into operation in the Shohmansur district of Dushanbe Thursday [March 9].  

According to information from the National Social Investment Fund of Tajikistan (NSIFT), this primary school was built in the settlement of Buston, eastern part of the Tajik capital, under a NSIFT community project.   

The school consisting of four classes to accommodate 120 pupils is equipped with all necessary furniture and up-to-date educational supplies, according to the source.  NSIFT has provided some 245,000 Somonis for the building of this school.   

The school-opening ceremony was attended by senior representatives from authorities of the Shohmansur district, education ministry, NSIFT, as well as pupils and their parents.  Telling the inaugural ceremony the Shohmansur district chairman, Faridun Muhiddinov, noted, “The construction of the school is another important move toward development of the education sector in
