The meeting participants include representatives from human rights non-government organizations, senior representatives from political parties as well as representatives from courts and the law enforcement agencies.  Representatives from the Majlisi Namoyandagon (


Tajikistan


’s lower chamber of parliament), President’s Executive Office and the Ministry of Justice have been invited to address the meeting as experts.  

Abdulghani Mamadazimov, head of the National Association of Political Scientists of Tajikistan, has told Asia-Plus that one of the main objectives of this event is in studying the situation with protection of rights and freedoms and protection of honor and dignity of persons under investigation as well as treatment by the law enforcement officers of them.
