, March 17, Asia-Plus — On Friday March 17, celebrations to mark the Navruz Holiday among the Tajik Diasporas began in
Moscow
and other cities of the
Russian Federation
.
The events have been organized by the Tajik Embassy in
Moscow
, Tajik Diasporas and Tajik students studying at higher educational institutions in
Russia
.
Muhammad Egamzod, press secretary of the Tajik Embassy, has told
Asia
-Plus a concert was held at
Moscow
State
University
on March 17. Besides, a photo show entitled “Culture of Tajikistan: Past and Present” was held at
Moscow
State
university on sidelines of A Day of Tajikistan.
Next week, a day of Tajik movies and other festival events as well as exposition of Tajik painters will be held in
Moscow
on occasion of the Navruz Holiday.
