’s Railways will take part at a session of the CIS railways council that will be held in

on April 11-13.   

According to information from the Tajik Railways, the leadership of the railway companies of the former Soviet republics including


Latvia

Lithuania


,


Estonia


, as well as representatives of


Bulgaria


and


Finland


will attend the meeting in


Tallinn


.  

The source says the meeting is aiming to consider a broad range of issues including the tariff policy of railways, the standard traffic schedule of passenger and cargo trains for 2006-2007  

Besides, participants at the meeting also intend to discuss issues related to making changes and addenda to the treaty between administrations of railways from the CIS states and Baltics as well as issues of application of separate norms in international passenger communication, etc.
