DUSHANBE, April 10, Asia-Plus  — A roundtable meeting to discuss issues of preparations for the forthcoming fair of non-government organizations (NGO) was held at the Civil Society Support Center “Third Sector” in Dushanbe on April 7.  

Ms. Muhabbat Pirnazarova, the Center executive director, has told Asia-Plus the meeting staged by the Coordinating Council for Socioeconomic Development under the Dushanbe Mayor’s Office, “Third Sector” Center and the Enterprise Development Support Center under financial support of IREX was dedicated to a Capital City Day, which is marked on April 15.  

“Commercial and non-profit organizations will present their activities in the upcoming fair,” said Ms. Pirnazarova, “The fair is aiming to draw representatives from the authorities, business, media as well as wide sections of the public into combing efforts of state, business structures and the public associations.”

The meeting participants exchanged views on all events that will be held during the fair – plenary sessions, press conferences, roundtable meetings, exhibitions and cultural programs.
