“At present our country is on the threshold of important events,” Rahmonov said, noting that 15 years of

’s independence laid foundation of development of the country.  

According to him,


Tajikistan


has established contacts with international community over the past 15 years, creating democratic, rule-of-law and sovereign state.  




Tajikistan


has become signatory to many international treaties, conventions and other documents,” said the president, “”We being integral part of international community have established professional parliament that is adopting laws meeting all requirements.”

Rahmonov noted that Tajik parliament had adopted 70 laws laying the foundation of the state over the past 15-year period.   

Head of state pointed to the necessity of parliament’s closely cooperating with the government in resolving problems facing society.
