offered 3,138 vacant jobs in the fair.  “The majority of the offered jobs have not been demanded because of low wages,” said Qurbonov, “Besides, qualification of candidates have not met requirements of the employers.”  

In the meantime, RIA Novosti reported on Saturday that Tajik Labor and Social Security Minister Zokir Vazirov and First Deputy Director of the Federal Migration Service Vladimir Kalanda had discussed cooperation in labor migration.  “We are resolved to continue our joint efforts to deal with labor migration issues and stop illegal migration of Tajik citizens to Russia,” the Tajik minister was cited as saying.  The two sides shared notes on new forms of relations in the sphere of labor migration and coordination of efforts in creating an international migration labor exchange as part of the Eurasian Economic Community.
