“However, we had to stop the publication of the newspaper for financial difficulties,” said Mr. Saidov, “Since under the project our weekly is distributed free of charge we have failed to find funds for further publication of it.  But the

has promised to support us during a year.”

Therefore changes have been made to the newspaper’s charter and since April, the weekly has been distributed on a payable basis, Saidov said.

According to Saidov, the 8-page weekly “Bomdod” has a circulation of 1,200.  “In near future we plan to increase the newspaper’s volume to 16 pages and increase its circulation,” Tolibsho Saidov said.
