According to information from the Committee for Protection of the State Border of Tajikistan, more than 70 representatives from more than 20 countries are supposed to attend a three-day conference that will open in


Dushanbe


on May 15.  

The conference is aiming to consider issues of the strengthening of protection of the Tajik-Afghan border.  

According to information from Tajik border service, Tajik border troops have seized 884 kilograms of drugs since the beginning of this year.  The totaled included 426 kilograms of heroin.
