QURGHON TEPPA, May 16, Asia-Plus – A joint inspection by the Khatlon finance control committee and security directorate has revealed instances of forgery and financial machinations in the Sarband (formerly Kalininobod) tax service.
Jamshed Norinov, the head of the Khatlon Finance Control Committee, has told Asia-Plus that a damage caused by top managers of the Sarband tax service to the region’s economy amounted to 76,300 Somonis (equivalent to more than US$23,000). According to him, I. Karimov, head of the Sarband tax service, and
N. Kabirov
, head of the department for collection and analysis of taxes from small entrepreneurship entities of the Sarband tax service, have drawn up forged documents and reports.
The inspection has also revealed instances of serious violations in activities of the tax service in the Nosir Khusrav district, according to Norinov.
All materials of these cases have been brought for investigation into the law enforcement agencies.
