’s Drug Control Agency (DCA) burned 103 kilograms of drugs on May 16.  

According to information from the DCA, the totaled of the drugs burnt included 58 kilograms of heroin, 30 kilograms of marijuana and 15 kilograms of raw opium.  

The DCA source told Asia-Plus that the drugs were confiscated in the course of 2005-2005.  The source said that it is the second such drug burning in the DCA this year, adding that 138 kilograms of drugs were burnt in April. 

The drugs were burnt in the presence of representatives from courts, international organizations and media.
