, May 16, Asia-Plus – Chairman of Tajikistan’s Committee for Construction and Architecture, Matlub Khalifayev, today joined visiting Ukrainian Minister of Construction and Architecture, Pavel Kachur, on his trip to the site for Sangtuda-1 hydroelectric power station.  

According to the Ukrainian minister, the main purpose of the visit to the power plant is for him to study an opportunity for Ukrainian companies to participate in the construction of this hydropower facility.

is interesting for any state,” said Kachur, “And we have opportunities for participating in the implementation of this project.”

“I think this trip may result in appearance of proposals both to our ministry and Ukrainian energy companies on taking part in

’s construction programs,” Mr. Kachur remarked at his meeting with journalists after the protocol-signing ceremony.
