Narzullo Dadaboyev, head of information-analytical center at the Sughd Hukumat, speaking to journalists in Khujand noted that such practice has taken place in the region already for two years and it had been introduced to for the purpose of introducing young specialists to work in government bodies.  

According to him, 36 students have been competitively selected from among 500 students from local higher educational institutions for working with local authorities of the province.  

“During the Self-Government Week future leaders are visiting cities and districts in the region for the purpose of familiarizing themselves with existing problems,” said Dadaboyev, “Besides, during two days they also will work as officials with bodies of executive power in the province.” 

On completion of the Week special certificates will be handed to the students, according to the Sughd official.
