Prime Minister Sergey Sidorsky chairs the meeting.  Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov, Kazakh Prime Minister Daniyal Akhmetov, Tajik Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov and Uzbek Prime Minister Shavkat Mirziyayev.  Kyrgyz delegation at the meeting was headed Kyrgyz presidential commissioner to the EAEC Integration Committee Almanbet Matubraimov.  According to some media, Premier Felix Kulov did not come for the meeting because of the tense public and political situation.

Twenty-five issues have been tabled to the meeting’s agenda.  According to information from the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the meeting made corrections in the budget and the priority integration plans in the trade, economic and customs areas because of

The source says the meeting ended with signing of three documents including an agreement on introduction of the single trademark for goods manufactured within the EAEC area and an agreement on general principles of formation and application of railways tariffs for shipment of cargoes.  Signing of the agreements will allow to remove technical obstacles for free movement of products in the EAEC area without additional certification and facilitate movement of goods made in EAEC states and in third country across customs borders, according to the source.  

Besides, the council meeting also considered issues related to introduction of a common currency in member nations of the Community, the source said.     

The Interstate Council meets twice a year. The last meeting took place in
