“It is a great honor for us to receive The Duke of York in Tajikistan and, as British citizens, we are all looking forward to his visit” said Mr. Graeme Loten, the British Ambassador. “We hope that in his short time here His Royal Highness will be able to see not only our new Embassy but also some of the work of our fellow British citizens who are working in Tajikistan, as well as a little of this spectacular country which is so little-known to many British people.”

As well as opening the Embassy, The Duke of York will also spend one day in Khatlon province where he will visit the district of Jomi and the city of Kurgan-Tube.
