DUSHANBE, July 5, Asia-Plus — Ten Tajik students will be sent to the Russian Federation to study various arts disciplines, including music, sculpturing, painting, and stage decoration, according to information from the Ministry of Culture. 

Mr. Khurshed Niyozi, a chief specialist with the education and science department of the Ministry of Culture, has told Asia-Plus that by quota provided by the Russian side they will study at Moscow Music Teachers’ Training Institute, as well as at national conservatories in Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, and Astrakhan, as well as Moscow University of Culture and Art, Institute of Arts in Krasnoyarsk and the Moscow School-Studio named after Nemirovich-Danchenko.  

According to him, the students to study in Russian will be competitively selected by invited Russian specialists.  

Besides, four students from Tajikistan will study various arts disciplines in Kazakhstan by quota.   

On graduation of the institutes the students should return to Tajikistan and work here for three years and only after that diplomas will be handed over to them, according to Mr. Niyozi.
