, July 19, Asia-Plus – over the fist six months of this year, the Kulob branch of “Tojiksodirotbonk” has provided loans totaling 1,580,714 Somonis to 295 local entrepreneurs, according to information from “Tojiksodirotbonk” branch in Kulob.

Mr. Abdulkarim Nematov, the head of the Kulob branch of “Tojiksodirotbonk”, has told Asia-Plus that of this amount, 1,276,334 million Somonis have been provided in loans through micro and small enterprise finance unit opened under support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).  

Besides, the Kulob branch of “Tojiksodirotbonk” has also provided 90 Somonis in loans to industrial enterprises and 103,500 Somonis in loans to farming units.   

Mr. Nematov considers attraction of 800,000 Somonis deposits of the population the biggest success of his bank.  “It has allowed us over-fulfilling the half-year target by 76 percent and receiving revenues in an amount of 512,809 Somonis; of this amount, net profit for the first six months of this year has amounted to 205,000 Somonis,” the Asia-Plus interlocutor noted.
