DUSHANBE, July 25, Asia-Plus – US$2.964 million worth of gold wares, coins and precious stones have been delivered to Tajikistan so far this year, which is four times more compared to the same period of 2005 (US$697,000), Aslam Akramov, the head of the Customs Department of the Ministry of State Revenues and Tax Collections (MSRTC), announced at a news conference in Dushanbe on July 25.
