DUSAHNBE, August 24, Asia-Plus — A new medical magazine entitled “Medicine and Treatment” will be brought out in Tajikistan ahead of Tajikistan’s Independence Day, which is marked on September 9.

Mullozuhur Tohiri, the head of the organizing committee for holding the Second International Congress of Phytotherapists and Quack-Doctors, remarked this at the congress, which was held in Dushanbe on August 23.  

According to him, this magazine will be a 36-page quarterly containing materials both in Tajik and Russian languages.  At first it will have a circulation of a 1,000.

Mr. Tohiri said they also planned to publish the magazine in Russia.  The founders of the publication are Tajik Phytotherapists’ Association, Association of Pharmacologists of Tajikistan and the Center for Standardization and Certification at the Ministry of Health.
