DUSHANBE, September 12, Asia-Plus – On Friday September 8, Iran’s visiting Majlis Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel met in Dushanbe with President Emomali Rahmonov.

Speaking to journalists after his meeting with President Rahmonov, Haddad-Adel said that there is no dark point in relations between Iran and Tajikistan, and that “Tajikistan is on the way to progress.” 

He said the talks focused on prospects of expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries. ”We expressed satisfaction with the present level of bilateral cooperation in fields such as transportation, energy, culture and other spheres,” the speaker said. 

 A group of Iranian lawmakers and representatives of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs accompanied Haddad-Adel on his visit.
