DUHANBE, September 13, Asia-Plus – A memorial board to commemorate journalists killed because of their professions will be opened in the hall of the printing-house “Sharqi Ozod” in mid-October.
Initiator of opening of the memorial board is the “Media Alliance of Tajikistan (MAT)” Association.
The MAT secretary general, Vera Kulakova, has told Asia-Plus the memorial board will feature symbolic tools of journalists: notebook and pen.
“We want to create a place, where journalists could gather to commemorate their colleagues killed because of their professions,” Ms. Kulakova said.
