“Since 1997, it is the first acceptance of school students for working with the Small Academy,” said Blagoveshchenskaya. “We now accept competitively selected school students for working with the Small Academy annually.”  The Small Academy also plans to open branches in Khorog, Khujand, Kulob and Qurghon Teppa.

During the academic year, students accepted in the Small Academy will study disciplines they have chosen and in May 2007, they will read papers to get the grade 1, 2 and 3 diplomas.  In 2008, they will receive titles of corresponding members and full members of the Small Academy.

Members of the Small Academy are admitted for studying at higher educational institutions in the republic on preferential terms.
