DUSHANBE, September 19, Asia-Plus – A conference formally entitled “Topical Issues of Prevention of Diseases,” dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Tajikistan’s Institute for Prophylactic Medicine is being held in Dushanbe today. 

According to the Ministry of Health (MoH), the conference participants include prominent researchers from Tajikistan and Russia, as well as international organizations active in Tajikistan. 

A source in the MoH said the conference will focus on environmental protection and hygiene and possible solutions to these problems, as well as the problems of parasitical diseases. 

The MoH source said the institute marks it jubilee with new successes in research and active training.
