DUSHANBE, November 27, Asia-Plus – A documentary entitled “Tajikistan – Mine Action” will be demonstrated at the Kokhi Vahdat State Complex in Dushanbe on November 28, according to the UNDP Country Office in Tajikistan.  

A source at the UNDP CO said that the film tells life of civilian population, including farmers, women and children, who are forced to live in the vicinity of landmine-fields. 

The film was shot under support of the Tajik Mine Action Cell (TMAC) and the UNDP CO in Tajikistan as part of a special program, entitled Raising Awareness of Mines and Unexploded Ordnances.
