DUSHANBE, December 18, Asia-Plus – A conference formally titled “Public TV and International Experience” will be held in Dushanbe on December 20.

The conference is staged by the Friedrich Ebert Fund CO in Tajikistan and the Internews-Tajikistan Public Association and its participants include representatives from Tajikistan’s electronic and print media, as well as representatives from international organizations and lawyers. 

According to Internews-Tajikistan, the conference is aiming to consider issues related to problems and prospects of development of public television in Tajikistan, legal documents regulating activity of TV in Tajikistan, as well as international experience and legal requirements of activity of the public TV.
