DUSHANBE, December 19, Asia-Plus – President Emomali Rahmonov today signed a series of decrees replacing heads of districts in the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (Gorno Badakhshan or GBAO).

According to presidential press service, mayor of Khorog Ulfatsho Abdolbekov was replaced by Nazarbegim Muborakshoyeva, formerly deputy head of Gorno Badakhshan.  

Head of the Rushan district Pasor Dilbovarov was replaced Khushqadam Khusqadamov, head of the Murgab district Idris Shojonov was replaced by Shozed Shozedov, and head of the Ishkashim district Ibroimbek Ghozibekov was replaced by Amrikhudo Damdorov.  

Ibroimbek Ghozibekov and Idris Shojonov were relieved of their posts of heads of the Ishkashim and Murgab districts in connection with transfer to other jobs.
